RebbeSoul is featured performing Nigun Hachayal (the soldiers song) in a recent TV special on the IDF on JLTV. Below is a link to the RebbeSoul portion of the program. The voices are of soldiers and veterans, young and old, from the US Armed Forces, the IDF, European, and even the Soviet Army. This is what one of them had to say...
The song is a beautiful melody, yet is very somber in it’s tone (war is sometimes glamorized, especially in our culture.) But this is a song that allows us to remember those that weren’t as fortunate as me to come home and reflect on what had happened. - Michael Maske, US Air Force, Gulf War

The album, Nigun/Voice of the Soul* is a collaboration with Sam Glaser and is now available with all the other CDs, by clicking here!
*A nigun is a Jewish tradition, going back many hundreds of years, most conspiciously to men with black hats and long, black coats, gathered around a table, pounding out the rhythm and chanting the melody. According to Hassidic thought and Kabbalah, a nigun, being a wordless melody goes directly from one's heart to heaven since it is a pure melody from the soul with no words to interfere.
Avinu is featured in the movie When Do We Eat, starring Lesley Ann Warren, Michael Lerner, and Jack Klugman.
Sal Litvak (director/writer) created a great film. It will make you laugh; it will make you cry. - RebbeSoul
Shalom is a featured song on the Songs for Peace website. Click here.
